Every year Gallery 22 in Charlotte has a Skateboard show called "Let the Good Times Roll." Local artists are given a blank skateboard deck and that is it. Go.
I decided to do board that was indicative of Charlotte. The lines in the background are organized in a pattern that represents the local neighborhoods. Each of the handmade paper flowers are highlighted with watercolor. Finally, she was labeled with the city's nickname, The Queen City. See the whole process on my blog!
