One night, I found a fraudulent charge on my credit card. At 9pm on a Saturday night, my debit card was shut down. With no access to my money, I called my friends and said I was going to stay in for the night.
Rummaging through my college art supplies, I found these tools that I thought were calligraphy nibs and pens. I decided to try and teach myself calligraphy with them.
Now, a few months later, I am so glad. Hand lettering has become my obsession and go to past time. The following is a sampling of personal projects and commissions. There are also several examples in the WeLoveClt project.
